How it works

CreditConfirm is a commercial Bank Confirmation Letter (BCL) workflow — not an audit confirmation. The vendor initiates the request and remains responsible for the final credit decision.

  1. 1

    Vendor creates the request

Applicant business, requested limit and terms, purpose, authorized signer, banking contact, questions and deadline.

  2. 2

    Applicant signer is invited

A single-purpose expiring link is emailed. Only minimal information is visible before verification.

  3. 3

    Signer verifies and signs

One-time code by email, review of the exact questions, authority confirmation, consent and signature intent.

  4. 4

    Authorization locks

The signed snapshot is immutable. Material changes require revoking it and obtaining a new signature.

  5. 5

    Banker request is sent

The named banker receives an expiring response link plus a unique reply-by-email address.

  6. 6

    Banker responds

Secure portal form, completed document upload, download-and-return, email reply, decline, or wrong-department redirect.

  7. 7

    Confidence is classified

Portal submissions are portal verified. Email replies are expected-domain or unexpected-sender and routed to review.

  8. 8

    Vendor reviews and records

Authorized credit staff accept, flag, reject or request clarification. Every event is written to an append-only audit log.

What we ask the bank

  • A banking relationship exists with the applicant business
  • The account is currently active
  • Approximate length of the banking relationship
  • Applicant business information is consistent with bank records
  • Institution-permitted factual account conduct (optional)
  • Existence of a lending relationship (optional)

Institutions may decline to provide balances, lending details or anything restricted by policy or law. Custom questions require administrator approval.
